View Data From Your Custom Built Application Inside HubSpot

Using HubSpot custom cards, you are able to view outside data from other systems inside of HubSpot on associated records. You can see in the image below what customized cards would look like pulling in bugs reported from an app or website.

Data Mapping

You will need to determine a key that exists in both systems. Examples might be

• HubSpot Contact ID
• Other system Contact ID
• email address

Companies

• HubSpot Company ID
• Other system Company ID
• Domain name
• EIN

When configuring the custom cards, you create a schema for the cards. HubSpot will use this schema to determine what properties it sends in the http endpoint of your middleware application.
